The following are crimes that occurred on or near campus and were reported to The Triangle by the Drexel University Department of Public Safety between Jan. 21, 2010 and Jan. 31, 2010. All information included in this report is taken from law enforcement or DPS incident reports.
Aggravated Assaults 1
Jan. 30, 4:300 p.m. 3300 Block of Race Street.
A Drexel student reported that on Jan. 30 at about 4 p.m., a male known to her (non- Drexel affiliate) produced a handgun and threatened to shoot her boyfriend.
Robbery 2
Jan. 30, 10:40 p.m. 3000 Block of Market St.
A non-Drexel affiliate (cab driver) reported that on Jan. 30 at 10:40 p.m., two males exited his cab without paying the fare, and assaulted him when he tried to stop them. The males were arrested by Philadelphia Police.
Jan. 31, 4:50 p.m. 2900 Block of Queen Ln.
A Drexel student reported that on Jan. 31 at 4:50 p.m., four black males in their early teens, all wearing dark clothing, demanded money and assaulted him when he refused. Two of the males were arrested by Philadelphia Police.
Burglary 1
Jan. 22, 3 a.m. 3175 JFK Blvd.
A Drexel student reported that between 3 a.m. and 8 a.m. Jan. 22, unknown person/s entered his unlocked apartment and took his laptop computer.

During the period covering this report there were no reported alcohol related policy violation.
Theft from Building 1
Jan. 21, 9:00 a.m. 1400 Block of Vine St.
A Drexel employee reported that between 9 a.m. and 11:05 a.m. Jan. 21, unknown person/s took $100 cash from her pocketbook left in an unlocked room.
Bicycle Theft 1
Jan. 28, 6 p.m. 200 Block of North 34th St.
A Drexel student reported that between 6 p.m., Jan. 28 and 9:30 a.m., Jan. 29, unknown person/s took her bike that was secured to a railing with a U lock.
Theft from Vehicle 1
Jan. 28, 7:30 p.m. 3600 Block of Powelton Ave.
A Drexel student reported that between 7:30 p.m. Jan. 28, and 9:30 a.m., Jan. 29, unknown person/s broke the window to her auto and took a cell phone and shoulder bag left in plain view.
General Theft 1
Jan. 23, 4:25 p.m. 3200 Block of Lancaster Walk.
A Drexel student reported that between 4:25 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., Jan. 23, unknown person/s removed his wallet from his pocket while he was attending an event.
