DU appoints Voelker men's lacrosse coach

Drexel needed to go no further than down 33rd Street to find its new men's lacrosse head coach.
Athletic Director Eric Zillmer announced today that former University of Pennsylvania men's lacrosse head coach Brian Voelker has been named the head coach at Drexel, replacing Chris Bates.
Voelker led the Quakers to two NCAA Tournament appearances during his seven-year stint at Penn.
Bates resigned as head coach of the Dragons to take the head coaching position at Princeton.
