The following are crimes that occurred on or near campus and were reported to The Triangle by the Drexel University Department of Public Safety. All information included in this report is taken from law enforcement or DPS incident reports.

May 11, 2009

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

9 a.m. 3400 Block of Ludlow St.

A non Drexel affiliate reported that May 11, between 12 a.m. and 9 a.m., unknown person/s broke the passenger side window of his auto and took a GPS System from the glove compartment.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

6:20 a.m. 100 Block of N. 35th St.

A Drexel student reported to Philadelphia Police that between 3 p.m. May 10, and 6:20 a.m. May 11, unknown person(s) broke the front passenger window to his auto and took a GPS system from the glove compartment.

BICYCLE THEFT

5:30 p.m. Creese Student Center

A Drexel student reported between 10:30 a.m., and 5:30 p.m., unknown person(s) cut the cable lock that was securing her bike and took her 26-inch touring bike from the bike rack outside of Creese.

THEFT

1:15 p.m. Armory

A non-Drexel affiliate reported that between 12:30 p.m. and 1:15 p.m., unknown person/s took tools that had been left unattended on a work table outside of the Armory.

May 13, 2009

BURGLARY

9:30 a.m. New Towers Hall

Two Drexel students reported that between 12 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., unknown person/s entered their room through an unlocked front door and took their wallets which were left on a desk.

THEFT FROM BUILDING

10 a.m. 3000 Block of Market St.

A non-Drexel affiliate reported to Philadelphia Police that between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m., unknown person(s) took personal items from her wallet that was left unattended in a classroom of a non-Drexel trade school.

THEFT FROM BUILDING

Time Not Given New Towers Hall

A Drexel student reported May 13, that on or about May 1, while several people were visiting, unknown person/s took an unattended iPod from her room.
