Junior attackman Colin Ambler, senior defender Matt McCormick and freshman goalie Mark Manos of the men's lacrosse team each received conference accolades for their stellar play during the 2009 season.

Ambler and McCormick were named First-Team All-Colonial Athletic Association, while Manos received the CAA's Rookie of the Year award.

Ambler carried the Dragons' offense, recording a team-high 21 goals, 16 assists and 37 points.

McCormick led the team with 54 groundballs while stabilizing the defense.

Manos, the last line of defense, kicked off his Drexel career in fine fashion, leading the league with a .595 save percentage, while starting every game. He also recorded an 8.36 goals against average.

Manos also earned Second-Team All-CAA honors and was named to the All-Rookie Team.

Redshirt freshman attackman Kyle Bergman and freshman Brian Teuber were also chosen to the All-Rookie squad.
