The following are crimes that occurred on or near campus and were reported to The Triangle by the Drexel University Department of Public Safety. All information included in this report is taken from law enforcement or DPS incident reports.

April 28, 2009

THEFT FROM BUILDING

12:30 p.m. English Language Center, 229 N. 33rd St.

A Drexel student reported that on 4/28/09, between 12:30pm and 1:00pm, unknown person/s took his bag containing a camera, phone charger, and personal identification that was left unattended in an unlocked room.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

3:00 p.m. Parking Lot "D", 200 N. 34th St.

A Drexel student reported that between 7:00pm, 4/27/09, and 3:00pm, 4/28/09, unknown person/s entered his vehicle which was left unlocked with the top down and took towing chains and personal papers.

THEFT

9:30 p.m. Buckley Field

A Drexel student reported that on 4/28/09, between 9:30pm and 10:30pm, unknown person/s took keys from her pocketbook that was left unattended on a bench.

April 29, 2009

THEFT

2:00 p.m. 3300 Block of Market St.

A Drexel student reported that on 4/29/09, between 2:00pm and 2:05pm, unknown person/s took his book bag that contained his laptop computer that was left unattended on a bench.

THREAT

Time Not Given Northside Market

A contracted supervisor at the Northside Market, reported that on 4/29/09 she was verbally threatened by a contracted employee. The incident was referred to an union official for review.

April 30, 2009

MOTORCYCLE THEFT

11:55 p.m. 3300 Block of Baring St.

A Drexel student reported that between 11:55pm 4/30/09, and 3:30pm, 5/1/09, unknown person/s took his motorcycle.



May 2, 2009

POLICY VIOLATION - DRUGS

2:05 a.m. New Towers Hall

On 5/2/09, at 2:05am, a room search was conducted at the request of Residential Living. A Drexel student was found to be in possession of marijuana and pills in violation of University policy. The incident was forwarded to the Office of Student Conduct.
