Never quit. Never give up. Never surrender.
That's just the mantra the Drexel men's lacrosse team choose to stick with, even after dropping its first three games in the Colonial Athletic Association.
But while the Dragons started off on a downward trend, they began peaking at the right time, just as Head Coach Chris Bates would've wanted it.
And now they're postseason bound.
Colin Ambler scored two goals and added two assists, Mark Manos made 11 saves and Drexel completed an unfathomable turnaround, defeating longtime rival Delaware 10-8 in a must-win game for its third consecutive conference victory to close out the regular season and earn itself a berth in the CAA Tournament.
The Dragons (7-7, 3-3 CAA), who earned the No.-3 or 4 seed, will play Wednesday night at either Hofstra or Towson in the semifinals.
