The following are crimes that occurred on or near campus and were reported to The Triangle by the Drexel University Department of Public Safety. All information included in this report is taken from law enforcement or DPS incident reports.
April 16, 2009
THEFT
5:30 p.m. 3300 Market St. (Subway Platform)
A Drexel student reported that someone went into her pocketbook and stole her wallet, containing money and personal identification, while she was on the subway platform.
April 18, 2009
LIQUOR LAW VIOLATION
4:10 a.m. New Towers Hall
A Drexel student was found intoxicated inside Towers Hall. The student was transported to a hospital by medics and the incident was forwarded to Student Conduct.
April 20, 2009
BICYCLE THEFT
2 a.m. 3400 Block of Powelton Ave.
A Drexel student reported that his bicycle had been stolen. The bike was secured to a railing with a flexible combination lock.
THEFT FROM BUILDING
1 p.m. Hagerty Library
A Drexel student reported that someone took his unattended and unsecured laptop from a desk inside the library.
BICYCLE THEFT
8 a.m. Myers Hall
A Drexel student reported that her bicycle had been stolen. The bike had been left unsecured overnight outside Myers Hall.
