The women's lacrosse team (7-6, 0-4 Colonial Athletic Association), which started the season winning seven of its first eight games, has now lost its last five games.

The Dragons got four goals from junior Katie Lawson, but fell 17-12 to Towson in their most recent game April 12 in Towson, Md.

Drexel trailed 7-6 at halftime, but the Tigers scored six straight goals in the second half to extend to a 13-6 lead they never relinquished.

Nikki Marcinik scored a game-high seven goals for Towson (8-5, 2-2).

The Dragons have four games remaining in 2009.

They will next face William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va. at 7 p.m. April 17. Following that contest, they will travel to Norfolk, Va. to face Old Dominion April 19 at 1 p.m.

Drexel's seniors will be honored in their last home game, April 21 at 4 p.m. when they take on Wagner.
