The men's lacrosse team rebounded from a tough loss to St. John's thanks to the performance of Kyle Bergman.

Bergman had two goals and three assists, leading the Dragons to an 8-4 win over St. Joseph's March 10 in Philadelphia, Pa.

Drexel (2-3) led 3-1 at the halftime, but scored five consecutive goals spanning the third and fourth quarters to extend to an 8-1 cushion.

Greg Casey, Adam Dennis, Jon Van Houten and Kevin Stockel each netted a goal for the Dragons, who got another solid effort from freshman goalie Mark Manos. Manos made 10 saves - allowing just one goal in his 54 minutes of action - before giving way to backup Andy Lamb.

Bergman now has a team-leading 14 points for Drexel.

The Dragons won 11-of-16 face-offs.

Drexel returns home to face No. 12 Albany at Vidas Field March 14 at 3 p.m.
