The men's wrestling team is hoping to end its regular season on a winning note.

After its previous four matches, there is no reason why it should lose heading into the CAA Championships.

Drexel defeated Rutgers 20-16 at the Daskalakis Athletic Center Feb. 18.

After beating three Ivy League teams in Brown, Columbia and Princeton, the men's wrestling team was expecting much more difficult competition in Rutgers (20-6).

But after splitting 10 matches, the Dragons won thanks to bonus-point victories by Frank Cimato, Billy Haydt and Justin Wieller.

With the win, the Dragons (10-14-1) increase their winning streak to four.

The men's wrestling team was able to avenge its earlier-season loss to Rutgers when it fell 21-15.
