The fifth annual career fair for Engineers Week was held Feb. 17 at 30th Street Station.

The fair, which hosted 95 employers, including Johnson & Johnson and Amtrak, also attracted over 400 students through the day.

Due to the high volume of students and employers present the career fair was held for the first time outside of campus from its previous location in the lobby of Bossone.

"Students were more involved with their interaction with employers," Rebecca Stoneberger, events coordinator for the Steinbright Career Center, said.

The fair also included workshops for students, such as resume revisions and counseling. According to Stoneberger, 450 students were pre-registered for this workshop, and those who spoke with resume counselors were able to make appointments to further discuss any questions on their resumes.

Stoneberger said this year's fair had the largest turnout to date, and the committee organizing the fair looks to continue the expansion in coming years.

"We hope to go back to 30th street station next year," Stoneberger said.

The fair is held by the engineering school, and every department of the school is involved, with the crux of the organization done by Stoneberger's committee, made up of co-op and engineering staff.
