The following are crimes that occurred on or near campus and were reported to The Triangle by the Drexel University Department of Public Safety. All information included in this report is taken from law enforcement or DPS incident reports.
February 9, 2009
VANDALISM
6:26 a.m. 3300 Block of Powelton Ave.
DPS received report of a red hatch-back 1995 Passat Volkswagen with its back right window broken.
THEFT-FROM BUILDINGS
8:37 a.m. 219 North Broad St.
A digital computer box, valued at about $50, was reported missing from the ninth floor of the building.
THEFT-FROM BUILDINGS
5:02 p.m. Creese Student Center
DPS received a call reporting a missing VCR from the Creese Student Center after a party the previous night.

THEFT-MOTOR VEHICLE
12:41 p.m. Friel Field House
A Drexel student reported an iPod transmitter missing from her blue and green Hyundai Accent 98 model car from the Friel Field House. There was no physical damage to the car.
THEFT-MOTOR VEHICLE
2:05 p.m. 100 Block of 32nd St.
DPS received report from an individual who stated that someone had broken into his white 1996 Chevy Express. The right front passenger door window was damaged.
THEFT-MOTOR VEHICLE
2:10 p.m. 3600 Block of Powelton Ave.
A complainant reported to DPS that a motor vehicle had been taken without her permission.
THEFT-FROM BUILDINGS
2:34 p.m. MacAlister Hall
A Drexel employee reported a missing projector from a room in MacAlister Hall.
LAW VIOLATION-DRUGS
10:03 p.m. Kelly Hall
An AD/RD in Kelly Hall reported a strong odor to DPS. Officers were sent to investigate the situation.

BURGLARY
6:13 p.m. Towers Hall
A Drexel student reported $30 dollars had been taken out of her wallet from her room between 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
