Along with Rosseel, Drexel (8-7, 3-1 CAA) had two other players score in double figures. Junior forward Gabriela Marginean had 18 points and senior guard Andrea Peterson had 11.
"We always say to the girls that if we can get consistent scoring from three players each game, we'd find ourselves in a position to win," Head Coach Denise Dillon said.
Rosseel, who shot fifty percent from behind the arc, had been stepping up of late and is becoming another scoring threat in addition to Marginean.
"I was open and I could shoot," Rosseel said. "So I just kept shooting."
Drexel was in control of the score throughout the game, but Georgia State started chipping away at the lead late in the second half and was able to trim its deficit down to five points. The Panthers, however, could not capitalize on this late surge due to being in foul trouble. Georgia State shot just 69.2 percent for the free throw line while Drexel shot 87.5 percent.
Throughout the game, Georgia State challenged Rosseel to beat them and she was able to sink a career high 20 points, 15 of which came from behind the three-point line.
"It just gives me goose bumps every time I score," Rosseel said.
