The following are crimes that occurred on or near campus and were reported to The Triangle by the Drexel University Department of Public Safety. All information included in this report is taken from law enforcement or DPS incident reports.
January 5, 2009
VANDALISM
4:31 a.m. U.S. Armory
A DPS officer reported that the front right side door of the Armory was shattered. There appeared to be five round holes in a window in Nesbitt Hall that appeared to have been caused by a pellet gun. It is believed both sets of damage were in the same incidence.

8:12 a.m. Nesbitt Hall
A desk worker at Nesbitt hall reported damage to the northwest window located in the rear of the hall. The window was found to be cracked, with four small holes through the glass.
THEFT-MOTOR VEHICLE
11:15 a.m. 3200 Block of Powelton Ave.
A student reported that the passenger window of her 2006 white Hyundai Sonata had been smashed and that her Garmin GPS system was missing from the glove compartment.

VANDALISM
11:34 p.m. 3300 Block of Baring St.
A DPS officer discovered a white Buick LeSabre with its right side passenger window shattered.

LAW VIOLATION-DRUGS
11:22 p.m. Myers Hall
DPS received report from an AD/RD on duty of a possible drug violation. The officer found three ziploc bags containing green vegetation, along with numerous plastic bags commonly used in drug sales. All items of contraband were confiscated.

LAW VIOLATION-LIQUOR
1:22 a.m. Myers Hall
A desk worker reported an intoxicated Drexel student in Myers Hall. The student was incoherent and was transported to the Presbyterian Hospital.
THEFT-BICYCLE
5:52 p.m. Creese Student Center
A student reported the theft of his blue and silver Schwinn bicycle, valued at about $160.
