"It doesn't hurt us and that's what you have to understand," Flint said. "We'll get [other teams]. We just won't play them.

"Before I came here, they [Drexel] went into a lull where we didn't play city schools. And you know what? We won't play them again," Flint said.

Flint says that all he wants is to be treated equally and get home-and-home series' in the future, otherwise he's done.

"I always tell them - and they think I'm on my pedestal - I always say 'If you think your program is better than me, play me home-and-home,'" Flint said. "That's all I say to those guys. 'Play me a home-and-home.' I have no problem with that. But if you're going to say 'we're going play at the Palestra and your place,' I won't play those guys. No thanks."

Fortunately for Drexel there may be a little ray of hope for future relations with Big 5 teams.

According to Flint the Dragons will be playing in a home-and-home with St. Joe's in 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons.

The Dragons will open up the Hawks' new arena and then, regardless of if the Armory is completed or not, host St. Joe's the following year.
