The following are crimes that occurred on or near campus and were reported to The Triangle by the Drexel University Department of Public Safety. All information included in this report is taken from law enforcement or DPS incident reports.
November 12, 2008
THEFT FROM BUILDINGS
8:30 a.m. 1500 Block of Race St.
A student reported three missing textbooks, valued at $600, and $50 missing from her purse. The student reported that the books and money were left unattended and went missing from her classroom.

12:08 p.m. Nesbitt Hall
A faculty member reported a projector stolen from a classroom in Nesbitt Hall.

12:36 p.m. W. W. Hagerty Library
DPS recieved report from a student who reported his calculator missing from a table on the first floor of the library.
ROBBERY
4:12 p.m. 3400 Block of Race St.
A Drexel student was robbed at knife point by an African American youth between the ages of 14 and 16. The suspect was reportedly wearing blue jeans, a black jacket and a green hat. The victim sustained no injuries and gave the suspect $10.
THEFT-BICYCLE
9:41 p.m. 3700 Block of Hamilton St.
A student reported his blue bike with the words City Bike printed on it stolen on Hamilton Street. The cable lock had been cut. The bike was valued at $40.
THEFT FROM BUILDINGS
10:21 p.m. Ross Commons
DPS recieved report from a student that her black Samsung Verizon phone had been stolen from the third floor of Ross Commons. The student said that her phone had been used by the person who had taken her phone.

THEFT-MOTOR VEHICLE
4:09 p.m. General Service Building
A Drexel student reported that the fog light was missing from the left front side of his car. The vehicle was facing the north side of Level B of the building.

THEFT FROM BUILDINGS
12:49 p.m. Stratton Hall
A Drexel employee reported that his laptop was missing from his room. The computer, valued at $1,200, was left unattended in the room for about five minutes.

FORCIBLE RAPE
10:56 p.m. 200 Block of N. 34th St.-West
A student reported that she was forcibly raped by a known offender on Nov. 15 around 12 a.m.
