Do you ever feel lost? Like you're not sure which direction to take in life? Let's face it - sometimes we need help navigating this crazy thing called college. That's why I'm here. Consider me your third party, impartial columnist. You have questions, and baby doll, I've got your answers. Or rather, I can provide my spin on things. So sit on down and buckle up, 'cause you're in for a big ol' Sass Attack!

If y'all finding yourself in a hardship, seek me out at entertainment@thetriangle.org. Make sure to put "ADVICE" in the subject line. I got your back, sugar.

I'm a freshman guy and I've never had a girlfriend. I'm decent looking and outgoing, but girls only want to be "just friends" with me. How do I overcome this?

Sugar Plum, this is not a race. And if it were, those who get to that finish line first usually lose anyways - trust me. Just because all your friends have a lovely lady doesn't mean you need one, too. You are young. Enjoy what you can get out of this city without worrying about "her" feelings. Trust me, you'll have a ball. However, if your heart is set on romance and you can't bear another evening without "her" cuddled neatly in your arms, here are a few suggestions.

Find a girl who you adore to be around; someone you can have aimless conversations for hours on end. She should make you feel like you're the only guy in the room, like not a single soul matters but you. Sure fire sign: if every time you see her, you smile - that's the one.

Here's what you do. Tell her you like her. Hell, ask the dame out for heaven sakes! Hopefully she says yes, but she may not. I understand - it is not easy being rejected, but you are going to be rejected a hell of a lot more times than you're going to be accepted. Don't let this get you down. Persistence is key. Not to say that you start stalking the poor gal, but move on and find someone else who gives you those same feelings. And remember, confidence is essential. You go, boyfriend!
