TT: Are you close to settling on an album name and artwork?
DY: We're still throwing ideas around. I think we have a name that we're going to go with but I'm not sure yet so I don't want to say anything. Artwork we're kind of leaving up the artist's interpretation a little bit. Like we told [him] how we wanted it to feel. So we'll kind of see what happens with that.
TT: How will the album be different and similar to your self-titled LP?
DY: It's pretty different. It's more like I guess straight forward but in a good way. There's a lot more focus on the songwriting and stuff rather than complicated instrumentation and that kind of thing.
TT: You've had a lot of band member changes recently. In which areas has this affected the band the most?
DY: It's been tough. It's been really frustrating. It's definitely taken a toll on the live show because we had to keep teaching people stuff in order to take them on tour. But the good thing is we have a really solid line up now of dudes that want to do this for a long time. So you know it's kind of refining the goal or something like that I suppose. But yeah, it's been tough and good at the same time.
TT: You mentioned a possibility of a short story being released with the new LP. So far, does it look like that will actually happen?
DY: You know what, I'm like on the fence right now about because I don't want to spoil the album, like what it means to people. And I don't feel very confident in my writing skills, like writing a short story. I haven't ever really done that before. So I would like it for the CD to make a little more sense to people but at the same time I want to leave it up to interpretation. I'm not sure where it's going to go.
TT: Do you think you may release it online if you decide not to release it with the album as something more official?
DY: Yea, you know that's a possibility. I don't know yet. I guess I have to write it first and see how I feel about it. I have the plot and everything ready to go; it's just a matter of putting things in place and making it happen.
