A is for Armory: This abomination of a building, one of the main reasons we were named third ugliest campus, is set to become the home of our men's and women's basketball teams in the near future - though I don't think anyone is 100 percent certain when that will be.
B is for Bates: Men's lacrosse head coach Chris Bates has brought respectability back to his program, notching a 24-9 record over the past two seasons.
C is for CAA: The Colonial Athletic Association or "CAA" is the mid-major conference that our teams play in.
D is for Dragons: In 1928, a Triangle article stated that the football team had become known as 'the Dragons'. I guess someone must've liked the alliteration. It's been our school's team name ever since.
E is for Eternity: It certainly feels like an eternity since one of our teams reached the NCAA Tournament. Not since our men's basketball team in 1996 has anyone accomplished the rare feat.
F is for Fabio: If our men's soccer team has any thoughts of reaching the postseason, junior midfielder Fabio Assumpcao will have to fire many shots into the back of the net.
G is for Gabriela: A two-sport phenom, junior Gabriela Marginean didn't just lead our women's basketball team in scoring (19.0 ppg); she also went 6-2 at first singles on the tennis team.
H is for Hynes: Entering her senior year, Kate Hynes has already been named CAA Diver of the Year three times. She capped her impressive junior season finishing 13th on the 3-meter board at the 2008 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships.
I is for Inspiration: No one defines inspiration more than Nicole Hester of the women's basketball team. The soon-to-be senior forward came back after sitting out the entire 2007-2008 season undergoing treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma and led her squad to an 18-12 record.
