Frank Elegar has signed a contract with Bremerhaven, a professional team in Bundesliga, Germany's top league.

Terms of the deal were not released.

Elegar, who left Drexel ranked 15th on the all-time scoring and rebounding lists, will begin training camp with Bremerhaven later this month.

The 6-foot-9 forward previously played on the Washington Wizards Summer League team and averaged four points and 2.2 rebounds over the five-game schedule.

Last season Bremerhaven, which featured former Creighton guard Nate Funk, lost in the 2008 playoffs to eventual champion Alba Berlin.
