"There were 7,000 undergraduate members and the award was based off of involvement on campus with contributions to Alpha Epsilon Pi and to Drexel," Brian Saunders, president of the fraternity, said.
The most exciting award, according to Saunders, was the "Most Outstanding Delegation" award.
"The award goes to the chapter that exemplifies the spirit of the convention, contributes to discussions and gives the most to other chapters that were there," Saunders said.
Another award that Alpha Epsilon Pi received was "Best Web Site."
"We've won that award six times in the past seven years, and also we won that award at the IFC at Drexel," Saunders said. "Our commitment is to keep a strong web site and the brothers informed."
These awards showed an enormous improvement for the fraternity over the past few years and set the tone for the organization, Saunders added.
One Alpha Epsilon Pi brother, Brett Fischer, also received an individual award for "Most Outstanding Undergraduate."
Sixteen brothers from Drexel's chapter attended the conference.
