Aside from the game play in the dungeon, there are other mini-games available. You can go fishing and sell your catch for money or plant flowers which turn into special items that can help Chocobo further advance in its job class. There is also a Mog House that has a few arcade games including a card activity that you can practice against the computer or play online with friends. The card game is decent, but does not compare to the card game in "Final Fantasy 8."

If you enjoyed music from previous Final Fantasy games, then you will not be disappointed. The "Chocobo's Dungeon" soundtrack is compiled of music and sounds from various games from the hit series. Whether you are in the dungeon fighting enemies, battling the boss or exploring the town of Lostime, the musical charm always stays fresh.

The graphics look good, especially for a Wii game, but it is a little disappointing that the cinematics are not in-depth. Also, even though the voice acting is fine, I felt like I was playing Dreamcast, not the Wii. The sound of the voices rarely matches up with the movement of their lips. Maybe this was my fault, but I kept comparing "Chocobo's Dungeon" to other Final Fantasy games.

Overall, this game is excellent and if you enjoy the Final Fantasy series, you will certainly appreciate "Chocobo's Dungeon." The music is phenomenal, and the storyline is cute enough to attract a younger audience, yet the enemies look evil enough to capture the older audience.

Also, with the large amount of jobs to choose from, this game will keep you entertained for a long time. The bosses and dungeons are challenging and look absolutely stunning on the Wii. It is easy to learn how to play, but very difficult to master and can cause a lot of frustration when dying in the dungeons. Do not be deceived by the picture of Chocobo on the cover, because Square Enix has created another successful game.
