The Traditions Program has ideas for additional events in the future, such as sending out care packages to freshmen once they commit to attending the University, according to Jones.
Additionally, they want to host celebrations for Founder's Day, Institution Day and bring Homecoming back to Drexel, Rozran added.
"One big event, though not solely our own, is re-invention of homecoming weekend. Traditions is working with Student Life, Alumni Relations, Institutional Advancement, USGA, DAC Pack, CAB, Greek Life and others. Students should expect this event sometime in November," Rozran said.
The Traditions Program is housed within the Annual Fund.
"Whenever donors give to the University, the Annual Fund is the front door. It's the place where they first start to give back to the University. … The fund every year helps the University pay for the electricity, so the lights are on, the computers are on, the library is open. Just the basic essentials, the things that you don't think about, are covered by the annual fund, that people need to give to every year," Isenberger said.
The Traditions Program wants to show alumni that the donations that are received each year are put to good use, according to Jones.
According to Isenberger, there will be free food and beverages at "Bon Voyage."

This is so great! Drexel needs to implement more tradition into the system! I think a lot of people come here wanting the traditional college experience and are less than impressed when they discover there is no "traditional" in the Drexel experience. (Continued…)
