We Editorial Board members would like to stress the importance of having an active student body. It's hypocritical for a student body to complain about campus life, but do nothing to try to improve our conditions.
Getting involved in campus life, however you choose to, will make your college experience a better one and play a positive role in the Drexel community.
We want to take step back and point out the work of one group that has made a positive contribution to the University community - Drexel Votes 2008. This organization has shown power of the student body to accomplish great things.
The initiative registered almost 2,000 Drexel students for the primary election, and their hard work has landed Drexel a spot as one of the top five schools in Pennsylvania for registering new voters. That amount does not even include the people that registered on their own.
Thank you, Drexel Votes, for stepping up and showing that the Drexel student body is capable of great things.
But now comes the next hurdle - it's your turn to make a difference - take the next step and actually vote on April 22.
