The IFC basketball and floor hockey seasons came to a close this weekend, with hockey finishing up in a giant eight-game finale that saw Alpha Pi Lambda win three straight games, taking the championship from last-year's winners, Pi Kappa Alpha.
Apple Pi was successful in completing an undeafeated season, going 5-0 including the championship match, and scoring a total of 24 goals and allowing just eight.
On the basketball court, Pi Kappa Alpha was successfull in taking the IFC Championship from Tau Kappa Epsilon, last year's winners. Video footage of the game can be found on Powerade's Intramural Web site at cstvim.com (choose Drexel as your school, and click on the video labeled "IFC Championship Game").
With the bowling season winding down, this past weekend saw TKE and Sigma Phi Epsilon advance to their division's semis, which will be played March 15th at 1 p.m. The winner of this match will go on to play Pike for the IFC Bowling Championship, which will be played this Sunday at Center Lanes on City Line Avenue.
Stay tuned in the spring to read who was voted MVP for their sport, and which players will be performing in the spring term all-star games.
