The following are crimes that occurred on or near campus and were reported to The Triangle by the Drexel University Department of Public Safety. All information included in this report is taken from law enforcement or DPS incident reports.

March 6, 2008

LIQUOR LAW VIOLATION

11:44 p.m. Race Street Residence

A DPS officer observed a student tending to an intoxicated student vomiting outside on the Cherry Street side of Race Street Residence. The intoxicated individual attends Temple University and was visiting the Drexel student at Race Street Residence. The Drexel student admitted to drinking in his room and his friend was transported to HUP.

March 7, 2008

VANDALISM

10:07 a.m. 3200 block of Powelton Ave.

A DPS officer noticed a blue Honda Civic with broken front, rear and passenger side windows. The owner was a non-Drexel student. Another witness, also a non-Drexel student, said he observed two South Asian males trying to hold the parking space some time earlier and said the males may be responsible for the damage. PPD arrived on the scene and took a report.

March 8, 2008

LIQUOR LAW VIOLATION

1 a.m. 35th and Baring streets

Two DPS officers were notified by PPD of students throwing beer bottles from a balcony. No evidence of broken bottles was found but a party with Drexel students was underway. An intoxicated underage Drexel student being uncooperative with the police investigation and was arrested.
