Women's lacrosse wins fifth vs. La Salle

Jessica Bill and Gwenna Johnson each scored four goals and Lauren LaBella stopped 10 shots leading the Drexel women's lacrosse team to a 15-12 victory over La Salle March 5 at McCarthy Stadium.
With the win the Dragons improved to 5-1 on the season, including 4-0 away from home.
Drexel trailed 7-4 in the last minute of the first half but got two late goals from Katie Lawson and Sarah Carter to trail by just one at the halfway point.
The Dragons then proceeded to score eight consecutive goals to start the second half to take a commanding 14-7 lead after Bill scored at the 13-minute mark.
The Explorers made a late rally scoring five of the final six goals, but Drexel held on for the victory.
