Suber hits 300th trey

Gabriela Marginean led Drexel with a game-high 20 points, but No. 10 Old Dominion snapped the Dragons' three-game winning streak with a 66-51 victory at the Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Va., Feb. 24.
Drexel (15-11, 10-5 CAA) started the game by falling behind 20-4 but came back and trailed but just five in the second half.
The Dragons trailed 46-41 with 7:20 remaining after a 9-0 run capped by a 3-pointer by Nicole Hester, but the Lady Monarchs (24-3, 15-0 CAA) countered with a 20-6 run of their own to go up 66-47 at the 2:20 mark.
Over the run Old Dominion held Drexel without a field goal.
Hester and Jasmina Rosseel each added eight points for the Dragons, who were outrebounded 40-29.
Narissa Suber, who finished with just five points, became the third player in CAA history to make 300 3-pointers.
Marginean is now five points away from 1,000.
