An undefeated season in basketball for both Pike and TKE ensured their appearance in this Winter's IFC Championship match that will be played on Sunday March 9th at 6:30pm on Center Court. This is a pivotal match for both Fraternities, as Pike holds a slim lead in the IFC Cup standings over rival TKE. The last set of regular season matches are slated for Sunday March 2nd, starting at 4pm.
On the hockey court, the IFC saw its first overtime game of the year, played between SAE and Apple Pi. Apple Pi's Ryan McNeil found the net one minute into overtime to give them the win in their season opener.
In bowling, SigEp continued their solid play, defeating TKE 3 games to none, while Phi Psi was successful in taking 2 of 3 games from Theta Chi.
Player of the Week honors go out to Joe Atar from SigEp for his perfomance in Saturday's bowling match, where a 212 pin 3rd game was closed until the final frame. Additionally, Tom Nguyen from SAE showed a solid performance in between the pipes, stopping 28 of 33 shots in their overtime loss to Apple Pi.
