After losing its first game of the season at home, the men's lacrosse team proved why it is ranked in the top 20 in the country.

No. 15 Drexel defeated Lehigh 13-7 at Vidas Field Feb. 26.

Drexel (2-1) built a 5-2 lead at halftime and scored another goal to make it 6-2. But Lehigh scored two goals just 20 seconds apart to cut the deficit to two.

The Dragons were not fazed, as they scored seven of the next eight goals, sealing their second win of the season.

Five Drexel players, including Chris O'Connor, Jon Van Houten, Adam Dennis and Kevin Dart scored two goals and Andrew Chapman led the way with three.

Colin Ambler had a goal and two assists.

Drexel controlled a majority of the faceoffs, as it won 17 of 23 draws. Zak Fisher won 10 of his 13 draws and had nine ground balls, while Nick Kusturiss had an impressive 6-6.
