Ulysses' lunch truck offers a variety of breakfast and lunch foods, including hoagies, salads, pizza and steaks.

Sam is the boss at Ulysses' truck, often called the "yellow truck" because of the yellow menus posted out front. It is the second lunch truck behind the Main Building, next to George's.

Sam offers a variety of lunch and breakfast favorites including hoagies, salads, pizza, clubs and steaks. While Ulysses' doesn't have any menu items that set it apart from other trucks in the area, it does advertise its cheese steak. The steak is available for $3.50 or in a special that includes fries and a can of soda for $5.

Ulysses' cheese steak is not your typical Philly-style steak. It tastes like the beef is soaked in an Italian-style marinade before it's cooked. This gives the steak a unique, pleasant taste. I liked the fact that the cheese wasn't pooled in the bottom of the roll like most steaks. Instead, the cheese was spread along the roll and added to the taste experience.

Waits for popular items at Ulysses' during lunch time are short because the truck was running something like an assembly line at the time. Expect to walk away with a tasty cheese steak in under three minutes.
