Happy Star's specialty is their grilled chicken hoagie, made with vegetables and various seasonings.

Located across the street from University Crossings near 32nd and Market streets, Happy Star All-American cuisine, also known as Happy Star, appears to be like every other lunch truck-but only as far as appearance goes.

After talking to the vendor, I found that the grilled chicken hoagie is the most popular item on the menu. There was about a seven-minute wait before I got my grilled chicken hoagie, made with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, honey mustard, mayonnaise, salt, pepper and oregano. The wait was a little long, especially since I was the only one in line.

The food, however, proved to be worth the wait. The chicken was very tender, and there was just the right amount of seasoning. The light drizzle of honey mustard and mayonnaise gave it an enhanced flavor without overwhelming the taste of the chicken. This filling meal cost only $4.

All in all, if you have the extra few minutes to grab something to eat, I would recommend stopping at Happy Star for their hoagies.
