Women's lacrosse wins second straight

Jesscia Bill scored two goals and added an assist in Drexel's 8-6 win over American.

The women's lacrosse team almost blew a 7-2 lead with a little over 11 minutes remaining, but the Dragons hung on to win at American 8-6 Feb. 20.

The win puts their record at 2-0.

Becca Drylie-Perkins scored a goal with only 1:40 left in the game, after American scored four straight goal to cut the deficit to 7-6.

Jessica Bill led the women's lacrosse team with two goals and an assist, while Lauren LaBella had 11 saves.

Drexel outshot American 24-21 and had five less turnovers (18) than American (23).
