Tramayne Hawthorne led Drexel with 14 points in a losing effort as the Dragons fell to 4-12 in conference play.

William & Mary defeated Drexel 57-50 at the Kaplan Arena Feb. 20.

Tramayne Hawthorne led the Dragons with 14 points, while Frank Elegar and Evan Neisler each added nine in the loss.

Drexel (11-17, 4-12 CAA), which led by three at the half, rallied to come within three with 37 seconds left, but the Tribe converted four free throws down the stretch to secure the win.

Scott Rodgers played just 13 minutes, as he was plagued by foul trouble. He finished with six points, five rebounds and three assists.

Nathan Mann (13 points) led four William & Mary players in double figures.

The Dragons held the Tribe to just 34.8 percent from the field, but William & Mary made 20-of-23 free throw attempts, including a 15-of-17 performance from the stripe in the second half.

Randy Oveneke grabbed a game-high seven rebounds for the Dragons.
