Drexel got off to a hot start in the three-day tournament, sweeping a pair of games against Georgetown and Alabama State, but finished by winning just one of its final four.
Katy Harrington led the team in hitting batting .385 (five-for-13) while Carla Waldron, Sandi Wambold and Katrina Gaudier shared the team lead with five runs batted in.
Ellen Soundy and Gaudier each made four appearances on the mound.
Soundy led the team with a 3.32 earned run average. Gaudier, who threw a team-high 19.1 innings, had the Dragons' only complete game.
Gaudier, a 2007 All-Rookie Selection, pitched seven strong innings, allowing only two runs on four hits while striking out two in Drexel's 4-2 win over the Hoyas.
The Dragons combined to hit .272 as a team and slugged four homeruns.
Harrington, Gaudier, Sandy Wambold and Amanda Hastings each went deep.
Drexel sports a .960 team field percentage and has committed seven errors thus far.
Four miscues by the Dragons led to five unearned runs in an 8-1 defeat at the hands of Georgia Southern.
Drexel will not play again until Feb. 29 when it faces Santa Clara in the first of five games as part of a weekend tournament in Santa Clara, Calif.
