"Our team is coming out here and playing with a lot more energy," Rodgers said. "We're not tired at all. We just come out here with the will to win - and that's what happened tonight. Our will carried us over."

The last time Drexel faced Delaware, the Dragons blew a 10-point lead in the first half to lose 67-63.

"We've lost plenty of games like that," Flint said. "But they've had a season where they've been winning all these games on last-second shots and you're thinking to yourself, 'Oh my goodness, we're getting ready to lose like that again.'"

Heading into the game, Drexel had lost seven of its last eight games. Nevertheless, Flint knows that his team can't give up on the season.

"You gotta keep fighting through it," Flint said. "I hope this was a breakthrough game."

Game Notes: The score was tied eight times, but there was only one lead change throughout the game. … The Drexel bench outscored Delaware's 11-2. … The Blue Hens lead the overall series 70-67. … 3,834 people were in attendance for the game.
