Anthony Lowman, associate dean of CoE for research and graduate students, presents awards at Honors Day Feb. 21 in the Main Auditorium. About $235,000 was awarded.

Over 350 students in the College of Engineering were honored Feb. 20 during an Honor's Day Ceremony held as part of National Engineers Week at Drexel.

"Some awards are selected by the student's individual department, some are selected by the college itself and other students were being recognized for an award they received as part of their financial aid package," said Ellen Pons, assistant to the director of CoE student services.

Approximately $235,000 was awarded at the ceremony according to Pons. This amount does not include awards provided in financial aid packages.

Students who were selected for the awards received a congratulatory letter and e-mail from the CoE prior to the event. A reception was held in the Great Court afterward.
