Women's basketball team loses to Blue Hens

The Drexel women's basketball team's chances of repeating as Colonial Athletic Association champions ended rather quickly. After rallying from an 11-point second-half deficit to force overtime and scoring the first five points of the extra session, the fourth-seeded Dragons looked to be well on their way to a comeback victory over fifth-seeded Delaware in the quarterfinals of the CAA Tournament.

Kate Hynes received CAA Diver of the Week honors for the seventh time this season.

For the seventh time this season, junior Kate Hynes was named the CAA Diver of the Week. She won the one- and three-meter dives in a meet against CAA rival Towson.

Hynes scored 319.2 points in the three-meter and 295.65 on the one-meter board.

Hynes, already a two-time CAA champion, has not lost any dual meets this season.

On Jan.26, Hynes is back in action as she and the Dragons travel to Storrs, Conn. to face Connecticut and Rhode Island.
