Hynes won her fifth CAA Diver of the Week award of the season this past week.
"I don't think it's possible to get tired of the awards," Hynes said. "I've been working really hard on my sport for a long time."
Hynes and the rest of the team won Drexel's dual meet at Binghamton 135-107. Hynes easily won the one- and three-meter boards.
She scored 334.87 on the three-meter board and 300.82 on the one-meter board, winning by over 60 points in both events.
Last year, Hynes made NCAA Nationals, but finished 26th. As great of a season as she had, she said she hopes to advance to the next level.
"My main goal is to make NCAA Nationals again and make top 16," Hynes said.
Even though the Dragons have yet to have a home meet this season, Hynes, who has been diving since she was seven, said she is still known on campus.
"A lot of people come out of the blue to recognize me and the sports information is great."
Drexel hosts Towson Jan. 19 for its first home meet this season.
"There is a certain intensity to it," Hynes said. "It's hard to understand unless you're there."
