Gostomski is only the third player in women's field hockey to receive All-American status. She joins former teammate Rachel Bloemaker (2005) and Pamie Zukowski (2000, 2001).
"It feels really great, I'm really excited," Gostomski said. "I couldn't really actually believe it because I didn't think I was going to get [All-American status]."
Gostomski scored a career-high four goals and assisted on four others in her senior year.
She led the Dragons to their highest finish ever in the CAA.
The Dragons finished the season 12-9 and advanced to the semifinals of the CAA championship where they were defeated 3-0 by No. 8 James Madison.
"This year was our best year and it was definitely a very exciting year," Gostomski said. "I think it does show how the hard work everyone did paid off. We finally went to championships and had a great time."
A four-year starter for the Dragons, Gostomski was selected to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Senior All-Star Game. She was a Second Team All-Region pick and an All-Philadelphia selection last year.
