48: The number of come from behind wins by the Phillies this season. Maybe they should call the Phillies the comeback kids.
132: The number of games played by Chase Utley, who missed a month of the season after breaking his hand during an at bat July 26 against Nationals rookie starter John Lannan.
177: The number of strikeouts by Cole Hamels, who missed approximately six starts due to an elbow strain. Hamels went on to compile of record of 15-5 with a 3.39 ERA in his 28 starts this season.
199: The number of strikeouts this season by Ryan Howard, which broke a major league record. The record had been held by Adam Dunn of the Cincinnati Reds, who accomplished the rather dubious honor in 2004 whiffing 195 times.
.201: The average of Pat Burrell on July 1st prompting one journalist to coin Burrell as "The $50 Million Mistake." However "Pat the Bat" went on to have an incredible turnaround, hitting .295 with 19 homeruns and driving in 60 runs after the all-star break.
716: The number of at bats this season for Jimmy Rollins, which broke the former single season mark held by Willie Nelson of the Royals, who had 705 in 1980.
1983: The last major sports championship for the city of Philadelphia was captured by a Philadelphia 76ers team led by "Dr. J" Julius Erving.
10,000: This number the Phillies would rather forget. They became the first team in professional sports to lose 10,000 games in their franchise history.
3,108,331: The number of fans that walked through the turnstiles at Citizens Bank Park in 2007. The Phillies averaged 38,374 fans per game.
$24,000,000: The total amount of Adam Eaton's three-year contract with the Phillies at $8 million per year.
Eaton repaid the Phils by going 10-10 with an inflated 6.29 ERA and as a result, he was left off the NLDS postseason roster.
