August 5 proved to be a historic day for Drexel Intramural Tennis.

For the first time the seasonal event encompassed four different tournaments, including men's and women's singles, mixed doubles and men's doubles.

Winning their respective tournaments were Ben McDorman (men's singles), Ashley Deise (women's singles), Paul Yuskevich and Deise (mixed doubles) and Dan Bell and Tom Frantzen (men's doubles).

The tournament, located on the courts near 34 and Powelton was run by Recreational Sports.

The next tennis tournament will be held in the fall October 6. It will be open to all students.
