Dear Andy,
I've got a date this coming Friday, and we are supposed to go out and see a movie. Do you have any suggestions for what movie we should go see?
-Dan
Well Dan, whenever I have a date and we want to go to the movies, my first instinct is to go down to The Forum on Market Street by Trader Joe's. You might want to run down there now and buy tickets in advance for The Porn Ultimatum or Hot Rods, just to make sure they don't sell out before your big date.
-Andy
Dear Andy,
I've been contemplating getting a tattoo. Lately I've decided that I really do want one. My mother says that If I actually get one, she'll disown me. Do you really think this is what she'll do? I really want this tattoo, but I don't want it to get in the way of our relationship.
-Travis
In my experience, Travis, the best way to get what you want is to compromise. While I really wanted a tattoo, and my mother didn't want me to get one, I compromised and got a tattoo of something my mother would like. My suggestion is to do the same. Get a tattoo, but make it say something that moms like. Something meaningful. I don't know. Get a tattoo that says "Forever." Only spell it "4-Ever" so that you and I don't end up with the same tattoo.

Dear Andy,
Our Internet service provider really stinks. Last week, I needed to take a midterm online, and the Internet wasn't working, which resulted in me missing my midterm. I'm not sure what I should say to my professor, as "no Internet" really isn't that good of an excuse. What should I do?
-Shelly
You know what? Your professor probably doesn't even care. He, like me, was probably watching re-runs of Planet Earth (in high-def) anyway. He won't care. Trust me.
