Crystal has consistently set a good example for athletes both on and off the field. He was recently named to the First Team All-Senior All-American Team of the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award based on success and leadership on the lacrosse field and in the classroom.

"The Lowe's award is great because it recognizes a lot of the off-field things, which is really great because it's easy to be able to play the game, but to able to do what you need to in the classroom and in the community I think tells more about a person," Crystal said.

"I am happy that others recognize me what I do off the field as much as on the field because when everything is done, I want to know I made an impact in all aspects that I could at Drexel. That is the type of player and person I have been striving to be since I arrived on campus four years ago."

Bates said it was an honor to coach Crystal and that it says a lot about the respect that he's earned over the course of his career. He also said that Crystal is a complete player

"I'm proud because Adam is such a quality young man," Bates said. "He's an All-American and an Academic All-American as well. He really has the full package and it says something about our full program and about him."
