The men's lacrosse team vaulted back into the Top-25 rankings after defeating then-ranked No. 14 Delaware 11-7 earlier in the week.
This is the second time this season that the team has been ranked and the first since defeating Virginia, the previous No. 1 team in the country.
"[The win over Delaware] got us right back on the map and back in the rankings," Jon Van Houten said.
Drexel Dragons Coach Chris Bates is happy to be ranked based on the difficult conference his players are in, but thinks it doesn't mean anything if they don't continue to win games.
"We don't care," Bates said. "It's nice and it's good because we've beaten a talented conference rival, but at the end of the day, it's short lived if we don't win our next game. We want to be ranked in the Top 20 at the end of the year."
