HBO keeps hold of its 'Entourage'

The second half of the third season of HBO's show Entourage premiered Sunday and from the looks of it, we're in the midst of another great season.

Vince, played by Adrian Grenier, and the rest of the boys are back. This time they have a new agent, new goals, and as always--new girls.

How is it a show about the lives of four guys has captured the interests of so many people?

Well, it could it be the witty banter, the fact that they're living a life of which most of us can only dream, or the glimpse into the inner-workings of Hollywood. Your guess is as good as mine, but whatever the secret ingredient is, it's definitely working.

In the mid-season premiere, we're treated to some brilliant banter between both Turtle and Drama and of course Lloyd and Ari. Ari is at his bitter and sarcastic best and Lloyd doing everything he can to make life easier after 'the breakup'.

Speaking of break ups, it was great comedy to see the writers treat the Vince-Ari relationship like that of a newly broken up couple, with each one second guessing each other and wondering if they were sending the right signals. The icing on the cake was when they sat across from each other at the Lakers game. Though neither said anything to the other, once they were each back home, both were trying to read the other, looking to get the upper hand.

The introduction of a new character, Vince's new agent, Amanda, played by Carla Gugino, adds a fresh face to the cast, but unfortunately she seems a little out of place. Though she adds humor to the show, her relationship with Vince and the guys seems bland.

The new season has everyone hoping we'll see a lot more girls, cars and guys that make Los Angeles the playground that it is. The city is like another character, adding to what makes the show so appealing. I can't imagine watching the show if it was set anywhere else. It's where celebrities roam the streets, looking great gets you into the hottest parties, and the weather is always sunny.
