It's become harder and harder to find a film that is both entertaining and good to watch, there are hundreds of movies being released which are either very entertaining and not a good film or just boring and an even worse. However, Hard Candy is a movie that entertains as a film can and is more than brilliant in more than one way. The way it's shot is phenomenal, the way the story is told is phenomenal, the actors are phenomenal, the characters are phenomenal.

I could continue with the list by stating everything about this movie is great, but then it's just a "Dave Rants on Hard Candy Jizzporium." The only thing that I can say that will really help out with this film is that it's about a young girl and her encounter with a pedophile, and it's a ridiculous thriller that everyone should watch. Go now, grab money, see Hard Candy.

The indie music subculture is on a severe rise in the past years thanks to the growing popularity of bands that are mixing older styles with newer ones. A prominent protagonist in this quest is the post-punk revival band The Strokes, who released their third full-length album five months ago.

This can only bring smiles to the faces of so many because there is so much crap that gets spat out at the same time that it's sometimes difficult to find albums of the quality that The Strokes achieve with First Impressions of Earth.

The Strokes are really making it big right now and are giving a great name to the indie subculture here in the U.S. Be warned, however, that The Strokes are not for everyone. Only listen to them if you can handle a level of rock that our generation has yet to experience on its own.
