I stepped out of class today, grateful for the warm breeze and sun that tickled my face. I heard music in the distance and saw car drivers with loud music flowing through open sunroofs and windows in celebration of the season. Through the quad, across 34th and Market and towards the DAC and the music grew louder still. A crowd had formed in the grass. In between a tangle of arms, legs and torsos I saw movement, possibly dancing. What was going on? I broke through the multitude and rubbed my eyes in amazement. My roommate appeared out of nowhere and pulled me into the center of the crowd. 'C'mon Tara, Just bust a move!" I woke up. An Old Navy commercial was playing on the television that I had forgotten to turn it off. I must be a prime candidate for shopaholics anonymous. Not only do I shop during the day but, I dream of clothes at night. Looking past the grins so wide they seem digitally altered, cheesy choreography and pop music from the late eighties/early nineties, Old Navy is offering some great products this season. Take the "Bust a Move" tunics. For only $10.00-$19.50, Old Navy offers this season's hottest colors, yellow, turquoise, coral and orange in tops that go seamlessly from day, to night, to the beach. I say pick the color that flatters your skin the most and pair it with simple jeans or a cotton skirt for day, or hoop earrings and heels for night. At the beach, tunics are a trendy but, cool and carefree cover up. With shades and one of Old Navy's straw sash hats at $14.50, you'll be stylishly star-like. So don't forget your pen, you'll need it for writing down your number and signing the occasional autograph. Don't feel like scouring the store? I know, it's overwhelming even for me at times. Check out OldNavy.com, it's famous for $5 shipping regardless of the size of the order.
