The lady Dragons upheld their Colonial Athletic Association champion reputation by defeating both teams at Pelham Bay Saturday. While neither competitor was from the conference, Drexel managed to dominate both.

Saturday's scene for the men was Cooper River in Camden, where they raced in a competitive Knecht Cup. The regatta hosts teams from across the country.
The varsity eight boat made it to the petite finals with a third-place time of 7:24.60. Saint Joseph's won the heat, finishing in 7:04.70.
Men's JV and novice boats were both eliminated in preliminary competition, but looked strong against Philadelphia rivals.
The Dragon's performances this week bode well for their upcoming competition. Both Men's and Women's teams will host the CAA Championship at the Kerr Cup Regatta Saturday, April 23.
The women's varsity eight will be defending their two time championship against conference rivals Delaware, George Mason, and William & Mary.
