Those in the news who present either a positive or negative impression of themselves are de facto nominated for being either persona cum grata (person with grace) or persona non grata (person without grace).

Persona Cum Grata

Michael A. Smith - This disabled veteran spit on Jane Fonda with chaw at a book signing. Well played, my good man. Well played.

Pheasant Lane Mall - This Nashua, N.H. shopping mall has banned unattended children from loitering if they are under 16 and without a guardian at least 21 years old. Let's hope this is a nationwide movement.

Persona Non Grata

Sen. Harry Reid - The Senate Minority Leader from Nevada should be wary not to live in a glass house and throw stones. Considering the heavy connections between his family and business in Nevada, Rep. Delay seems to be not the only one with their hand in the cookie jar.

Rep. Tom Delay - The House Majority Leader, while spot on with judicial activism, is an embarrassment to the party. Time has come for him to step down. Corruption knows no party lines, and it is clear that there are many unanswered questions regarding Delay's connections.
